    Have you considered a hybrid concept whereby you get the tax credit for the full value of $125 and charge them your cost as you have suggested? Then again a flat out donation is not a bad thing either. I have donated prints to a few charities. It is good PR and can help to get your name out.

    Bill,
    I am not really considering any tax credits. In my current situation, I don't have any write-offs, save for student loan interest. So for the most part, the standard deduction is my best bet.

    The group called me back. It looks as if the print sale is a 'go', they also wish for me to take some other publication-type of photos for them as well.
