Bespoke portfolio boxes?
Does anybody know of a good company in the UK that produces bespoke portfolio boxes? I'm looking for a black clamshell case to house nine prints matted to 16x20". I want the option to be able to emboss something on the front too. Any leads would be much appreciated. Cheers

hi jarvman
if you can't find anyone in your neck of the woods
you might look into contacting http://www.portfoliobox.com here in the states.
they do amazing work, all custom, boxes books, leather, cloth, dust cases ... you name it!
i 've had them make 5 custom books for me over the years, never a box though. i DO know people
they have made boxes for, and nothing but good words ...
good luck!

Does Silverprint not stock a suitable box?

Reason: missed the need for embossing

Hello there. Won't be cheap but will be very good quality:http://www.falkiners.com/
Boxes are at; http://bookbinding.co.uk/Box-making.htm
Though if you ask Silverprint or Process Supplies they may be able to arrange embossing on their boxes.

Blimey, I've just looked at the prices for a 50x60cm box! I would ignore the top bit of my last post!

Thanks Mike! The prices I've seen most places so far seem to be pretty extortionate. I'd love to have a go at making one myself if I can find some good instructions.

Found some decent instructions, only now I'm finding it difficult to source the correct board. Does anyone know where there is suitable board available in the UK?
