    Thanks Michael,

    Your article makes a lot of sense - especially ironic that dry-mounting (which I always believed destroyed value) protects the print from gases - thus extending its life.

    I have come across art where material chosen, bugs, age or water damage (or changing taste) make the original mat useless and I appreciate having the print tipped in and easily removed.
