Case in point -- my Hasselblad. I bought it from a professional photographer who was well aware of its value:

500 C/M, prism, waist level, 80/2.8, 50/4, 150/4 (all C T*), two backs, flash bracket, filter set, pro shade, and lens hoods.

All for $1400. Insane.

Wall Street Camera survived a couple years after 9/11. The younger generation wasn't up to running the store, and competition with eBay was rough. They sold a lot of their remaining inventory on eBay, actually. Very sad to see them go. The prices were usually high, but they had an occasional gem. And if you made friends with the owner, prices came down pretty quick. Just before they closed they had four giant, brass aerial lenses I was lusting after. As I recall they were about 21" FL and F/2.5. They had to way 35 lbs.

Default FREE Color processor in NYC-soho

I was offered this and since I'm not a color guy I thought I'd pass the info along:

RA4 print processing machine -- fujimoto cp-51 image processor w/16" throat -- free to individual who picks up from NYC studio. Call 212 777 0101 ask for Jamie Harman. Or email jamieharman@gmail.com.

Good luck,

Alan.

I've moved Alan's "free color processor" to this thread and updated the title to include free items.

Just to clarify, this lens is in a barrel lens, its not mounted in a shutter. The picture and the explanation are a little unclear on that. I emailed them and asked.

Hope it helps.

Maybe a special for readers only as there is no front page announcement on their website, but Mr Cad has an ad in this week's Amateur Photographer with a whole heap of Nikon manual focus equipment at half the listed price. It also has the "last ever" Nikon LF lenses at reduced prices as well, all until 4 April. Their website is acting funny for me just now, so can't check further.

Default Canon Canonet 2b & Nikon MF-4 bulk film back

Check out http://www.bcauction.ca ...they have a Canon Canonet 2B for sale and currently the bid is $27 - expires 2007/03/30 14:00 PST. And a Nikon MF-4 Bulk film back - the current bid is 50 cents - expires 2007/04/02 10:20

It's a place where the Federal and Provincial government sell off their assets, including camera gear. But, you can't bid on any Pentax gear unless I get first dibs!
