AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!
Drool!
And I'm moving back to Montreal, for good.
And will have space for a dark room.
And can have a truck.
Will see what I can do tonight.

The call has been heard and the Kienzle is now safe in my house.
Rule them all indeed. This thing is a tank! Nothing is half-done: from the lamphouse to the electric cables, everything has a "durability" imprint on it. The seller, a professionnal photog who still uses film but scan them, was happy to see it go to someone who will use it.

Now, I need to unpack my things and start planning the eventual darkroom.
What a hectic first week as a Montrealer

Marc

For a mere $3500, you can own a Nikon SP that looks like it was stomped by a motorcycle gang.

Well, he does say that it "shows signs of use".

I wish I lived in New York City, but only long enough to pick up this eBay goodie (seller won't ship it). It's what might be a years supply (or more) of Ilford papers. Mostly the good stuff:

Ahhh... Oh well, we DO have better weather here in California. At least I got something to gloat about!

Doing a little research on what little info the seller gives, they're for autofocusing graphic reproduction cameras, and won't have irises, etc. Interesting, but not sure how easy it would be to get the lenses off the plates. Apparently they are very securely attached so as not to change alignment as the machine rapidly shifts the plate around. There are a few patents online discussing the systems.
