Default MFA Boston, this summer

Do yourself a favor, if you are anywhere near New England at all this summer, visit the Museum of Fine Arts this in Boston. Ok... ok... it's painting, not photography, but the paintings there this summer can teach us A LOT!

First, they have a show.. El Greco to Velasquez: Art during the Reign of Philip III, and then downstairs in the contemporary galleries is a retrospective of the work of Antonio Lopez Garcia. His stuff blew me away! And I'm a little embarrassed that I did not know his work. It's extraordinary.

Worth every effort to see both shows...
