Will somebody please buy these...

3 Durst 5x7 enlargers for $500

This is the third time they have been up without any bids.

Yeah, that's the problem with NYC auctions like that. Who has room for one 5x7" enlarger, let alone three? I'm standing pat with my 4x5" D-II for now.

If others want to split this with me,
I will take one.

I'd love to have one, but where the heck would I put it?. My D4 barely makes it into the darkroom now and the ceiling is only a little higher than the 7ft. height of the enlarger itself. Bummer.

I'd love to share in it too, but I don't have space to fit one - my darkroom ceiling is only 6'.

Jim- I think I'll take you up on the offer. Give me a buzz after work today and we'll work out the details.

No bids again.

So is anyone going to get these?

I said something to the wife about what fantastic item these would be to have at the house and was met with some rather overt "skepticism" as to their worth along with rather definite "suggestions" as to their final location should I purchase anything on that order.

Might not be a good idea.
