Default Seniors...how old are they?

Like, so like, I'm like 48, eh? Like, is that like old...like really...like really really? Like, is 48 all that old, like freaking old, or what?

(There was a local call for artworks from artists above the age of 50 for a seniors exhibit...this freaked out my younger wife BIG TIME )

I'm 52 - I received my first "senior's discount" earlier this year, in a casino restaurant.

It made my wife's day .

70 is the cut-off point. I'm 67.

LOL.

Any of you just been following the Open Golf at Royal Birkdale. An ancient old bloke who goes by the name of Greg Norman was leading and finally came 3rd. He's a part timer these days and only plays a few exhibition matches and an occasional match on the Seniors tour. He's well past it at 53. So how come all those young whippersnappers who flatter to deceive were so far behind?

In ten years this will read; "80 is the cut-off point. I'm 77".

General rule #1: Old age is always ten years older than I am.

It's an old saw that age is just a state of mind, but I like the way Isaac Stern put it. "The secret of life is to die young -- but delay it as long as you can."

Ya, but what will it become when you reach 70?
