elite chrome 200 - exposure range

okay, so i'm a little confused. i've been using elite chrome 200 for this class i'm taking. it seems to me, just by looking that the film has no more than 6 stops range, but the datasheet seems to indicate otherwise... am i just reading it wrong? http://www.kodak.com/global/en/consu...s/pdf/e148.pdf

I didn't catch the "6 stops range" on the data sheet, but, if you can get that range, with detail, in a chrome film, you should be well-satisfied.

no, looking at the characteristic curve on the data sheet shows, to me at least, much more than 6 stops. typically i get about 4!
