Imagine if we standardized on Kelvins for our temperatures. "Throw another log on the fire, folks. It's gonna be a cold one with a low near 270."

At the moment, it's cold and we've had snow flurries today in Central Illinois. Supposed to end up with about an inch of snow. Our low tonight is supposed to be 20 F (or -7 C or 266 K).

And "degrees Kelvin" is no longer used- "Kelvins" is the proper term.

I work with several people whose first names are Kevin, therefore degrees Kelvin avoids confusion.

There are hungry people in Santa Monica. So you kids should eat everything on your plate including the liver and tofu.
