    The Best in Boston?

    Hey everyone!

I just moved back to the Waltham / Cambridge / Boston area recently and am looking to continue my analog photography and go a bit further with it.

That being said, what are (in your opinion) the best photo labs in Boston and its surrounding area? I'm looking to get 35mm and 120 film developed and printed at the very least, and I'm also interested in taking a few darkroom classes as there was no lab nearby where I previously lived.

    Thanks so much and cheers,

    Dan

Maybe not in Boston. Have a look here: http://www.cityvisitor.co.uk/boston/...rocessing.html
Cambridge used to have some nice camera shops and probably you can still develop in the local chemists.
    Good luck!

LaPete Labs, in the Fort Point Channel district is a great place to go, to learn and to rent darkroom space. Bill is a wonderful resource.

Glad you asked this question before I did, as I'm currently waiting to board a flight to Boston for a music festival and was also wondering what my developing options where.

Color Services in Neeedham is an excellent lab.

New England School of Photography offers evening darkroom workshops taught by Nick Johnson who is a great teacher.

Dorian Color Labs in Arlington does excellent work in C-41, E-6 and B&W using a "dip & dunk" system.

All of the above. If there's a one-stop-shop for all that'd be great, if not then that's great too.

And keep the recommendations coming people! I'll be researching all of these this weekend.
