Great Basin National Park/Ely Nevada
Going shooting in Great Basin, south and east of Ely Nevada by the Utah border, this weekend.
Will be at Great Basin on Sat. (Oct. 1st) staying in Ely overnight then maybe shooting the train yards Sunday (Oct. 2nd).

Robert, should be breathtakingly beautiful this time of year. If I wasn't headed out the door to the E. coast I'd be mighty tempted. The Nevada Northern is spectacular. Especially if you can schmooze your way into some of the back shops. I have a few wallhangers in the Depot Museum. Have a blast.

If you camp out at the park, make sure you put your shoes inside the tent. Only partly cloudy supposedly until Monday. Today was clear and warm, so you just might luck out. Monday the rains are supposed to hit.
