I will probably stay at Horsham overnight and get to HG the next morning. 8:00 sounds very civilised.

That makes two of us who agree on 8 am. Graeme, are you planning to be shooting the sunrise earlier than that?

Seeing I started this thread, I'll make the decision.
8 am in front of the supermarket in the main street on Monday 2nd January.
Look for the other people with camera bags and tripods.

The supermarket at West Pymble, MSW or somewhere else.

Stawell, Sovereign Hill, Horsham, The Grampiams.

Come on, get real with an address :-)

Errr. Hall's Gap as discussed - There are only about 5 shops, you can't miss it.

If you find there is a large body of water on your left and a sign that says Lake Bellfield -- turn around as you have missed the town.

As they say blink and you miss it.

I would love to be able to say for certain I'll be taking photos at sunrise, but right now I can't. It just depends on how early I get up that morning. I will definitely be at the supermarket by 8.00am though.

My mobile number is 0427 18 66 50. Anybody wanting a lift from Melbourne very early on the 2nd can give me a call or text message. I aim to take my swag and camp out on the night of the 2nd, so getting back to Melb if you don't camp might need other arrangements.

I'm not going to be able to get near the internet after Boxing Day, so if the arrangements change, can someone please take the time to text me or phone?

    Cheers,
    Graeme
