Another thing nobody has mentioned so far.... you cannot pump your own gas at the station!

Another thing about "Joizey" that nobody from there has mentioned and I can prove is: All Jerseyites drive on the parkways and turnpikes in packs of 6 or more cars. There will be great distances between these packs of cars but as soon as you settle in at a comfortable speed, you will pick up new friends to drive along side of you for miles and miles.

I never noticed any spaces between the cars. Was it 2am on christmas eve?

And you'll have to change your handle to "MenacingBenny"
That is called grain. It is supposed to be there.

Before you leave you have to tell me where you get your "Love Me" stickers made so I can keep up the tradition here in the west!

    learn your exit!
(as in what exit off the Turnpike you live near)
That also applies to the GSP (that's Garden State Parkway to you non-Jersey types).

As for not being allowed to pump your own gas... It's less expensive than the national average and you don't have to freeze your ass off in winter. Of course, your car insurance will cost you a LOT more...

Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Hoagy? down the shore we call them subs, as in submarine sandwhiches.

BTW, you can Google "Down The Shore" and pull up the website for Down The Shore Publishing based in Harvey Cedars, NJ. They publish books, calendars solely about the Jersey Shore.
