Anyone want to try a multiple exposure?

This picture was shot on APX100 through a Lee IR filter, two exposures at 1/2 second f:8, two at 1/400 f:32 without the filter when the clouds moved in.

Nice picture, Ole. I guess that we won't have any clouds in Creta (if I make it there) when we watch the eclipse with Aristoteles (I called Democretus and Pythagoras too, but Aristoteles was the only one that responded :-)

Thank you all for the advice, I will be very careful and use the arcwelders mask. I don't think I'll have the time to make pictures, since I'll be there for a commercial job.

Allright, I am now equipped with 4euro special "glasses" from the local optician. I just hope I won't forget it!

We just finished the eclipse here in the Northern Pelopponese. Maybe we had ca. 50% coverage. Hope you guys had a good show in Crete.

    It was awesome!
I sat here with George and another friend at a local cafe by the shadow of an old church and we enjoyed the phainomenon along with a couple cups of coffee. It might not have been as great as the the total in Asia Minor, but the slow covering of the sun by the moon and the sliver of a crescent that was left in its peak was pretty kewl!
I thought that the slight covering of the sun by the moon in the beginning and later phases was more poetic but the others thought I was just weird.

Atleast I got to meet Papantoniou who is a very nice guy and looks nothing like a Troll!

That's really weird... the guy was an orthopedist, or what ?

Indeed, we had a nice time in Herakleion and I didn't wear my Troll uniform (I didn't want to scare the guys there)...
