Moscow camera shops
I'm going to Moscow soon and want to look for used cameras.
Any suggestions about good shops?

I was just in Moscow two weeks ago, and had the same idea -- but little time to look around. I went out to the famous weekend Izmailovskii market in an eastern district of Moscow, and found a few fellows selling primarily Russian cameras -- Zorki, Lubitel, etc. As I don't speak Russian, and they had limited English (unlike the people selling nesting dolls!), I wasn't able to ask for 85mm lenses for my Kiev or Contax RF which is what I was after. I could ask for Leningrad RF cameras, but no one had any. I almost took a Russian 6X6 stereo camera for $130, but decided against it -- just as well, based on what I subsequently read about quality control on these cameras.
My experience, admittedly at just this one location, was that there wasn't a whole lot of quality product available. I sincerely hope you have better luck finding something of interest.

This is a great place for used photo gear, not too far from the Kiev train station.

here is their price list:

If you don't find what you are looking for on the price list, make a phone call. According to their web-site they take orders. I use russian, but I think they speak limited english as well. To my experience they only sell things that are in good repair.
Izmajlovskii market has a huge choice, but I would check the quality thoroughly. However, I found several cheap lenses there.
There are also several web-shops that sell good quality cameras, like fedka.

When I went to Moscow, I bought some 4x5 film in http://www.ekta-f.ru/. The shop had a good selection of film and second hand camera. It was really easy to get there by metro.
