    This is like a guitarist being surprised that no one knows what a vacuum tube is.

    Times change. We can't fault people for not knowing about the things that have changed—even if we care a lot about the things that have changed. (;

    Sounds like a good sig line.
    I do use a digital device in my photographic pursuits when necessary.
    When someone rags on me for using film, I use a middle digit, upraised.

    Yea it does!! Might steal it haha.

    Also I love the one about the model who didn't believe the photog about not being able to see the image on the back haha.

    How times have changed.

    Tell her that only real professionals have cameras without a viewing back because they don't need to check the image because they know what they are doing... Hehe

    Model; what's film?

    Reminds me of the following real conversation:

    Film photographer is setting up a shot near a jogging trail.
    Jogger approaches.
    Jogger: Hey you know there are digital cameras now. You don't have to use film anymore.
    Photographer: Hey you know there are cars now. You don't have to jog anymore.

    I once was asked by someone with a digi SLR ..."why are my pictures so dark".....I replied, "When you shoot against the light source you should open up your aperture setting by 1-2 stops".

    Digi photographer's reply: "What's an aperture"?
