I'm considering learning how to make dry plates. I have a half plate camera already.

Most recently, I've been playing with a Nikon V1 and a low-powered microscope, which hardly falls into the APUG realm.

My hope is to use some of the 40 feet of 70mm tech pan I've got sitting in my freezer in 2013. Suggestions for projects are welcome. Also, if anyone knows of a lab that still does short rolls of ECN-2, I may shoot some Eterna 500.

Congratulations on your success, as well! Good luck this year. I am new to film, so I am hoping to start printing and get more involved with a film photography community. If I could make it into one show or gallery by the end of 2013, I'd be on cloud 9.

I think maybe I'm gonna pitch my huge, expensive digital printer into the trash. I certainly am going to build a wet darkroom. I've got a tall Omega B-22 enlarger and two great Nikkor f2.8 enlarging lenses, for 35mm and 120. I'm mighty tired of expending $130 for a set of nine colors of ink to make b&w prints and getting lousy results anyway. It's been 20 years since I've been in a darkroom and it's just too durn bright out here.

My plan is to shoot at least one roll of 120 a week and make a print. I also want to begin dialing in my exposure/developing/printing process. I'm limiting myself to two cameras, two films and one developer. I'd like to write a weekly blog post, but I didn't get it done last year, so who knows if I will this year.

I'm primarily an E-6 shooter. I plan to expand my horizons by doing more B&W, and trying my hand at IR photography once we get some green grass and leaves back on the trees!

I'm going to help my friends use up a portion of their cache of Ilfochrome materials.

I'm going to look for the joy I first felt in the '80s when I took interesting (to me) images. And a return to developing. Guess I'll become a photographer again.

Trying to break out of my photographic comfort zone ... hopefully with more LF photography, probably with still lifes and portraits.

Ideally more time in the darkroom and building up a consistent portfolio of work.

Carrying a camera with me most of the time so I can take the photos I see in front of me, rather than wishing I could.

    That's brilliant news.
I'm also looking to maybe either sell my prints in a local art shop or have them put up on a wall somewhere in a local café.
