    Lovely.
If I get one snap from a roll of 36 I like, I'm happy.
Possibly get one printed image a year I really like :-(

Maybe I'm hyper critical of my own work but If I get two really good slides or negatives out of a 135 36 exposure film I'm happy.

My photos have always been memories. In that respect, most of each roll were usually "keepers." Boring, but they served their purpose.

However, after getting on this site, and trying to learn to take "good" pictures, I rarely have any "keepers" in that regard

Great negatives. Now it is time to get a good enlarger and set up a darkroom. Give up life as you know it, and slink around like Gollum in the darkroom. Soon you will be talking like this:
Gollum: We wants it, we needs it. Must have the precious. They stole it from us. Sneaky little hobbitses. Wicked, tricksy, false!
    Smeagol: No. Not master!
Gollum: Yes, precious, false! They will cheat you, hurt you, LIE.
    Smeagol: Master is our friend!
Gollum: You don't have any friends; nobody likes you!
Smeagol: I'm not listening... I'm not listening...
    Gollum: You're a liar and a thief.
    Smeagol: No!
    Gollum: *Murderer*.
    Smeagol: Go away!
    Gollum: "Go away?"
[Gollum laughs as Smeagol begins crying]
Smeagol: I hate you, I hate you.
Gollum: Where would you be without me, gollum, gollum? I saved us! It was me! We survived because of me!
    Smeagol: [stops crying] Not anymore.
    Gollum: What did you say?
Smeagol: Master looks after us now. We don't need you anymore.
    Gollum: What?
Smeagol: Leave now, and never come back!
    Gollum: No!
Smeagol: Leave now, and never come back!
    [Gollum screams in frustration]
Smeagol: LEAVE! NOW! AND NEVER COME BACK!
    [Gollum is silent]
Smeagol: [looks around] We told him to go away... and away he goes, Precious! Gone, gone, gone! Smeagol is free!

Can't say this has ever happened to me but I've managed to get a high 80% keeper rate a couple times. Shots look great, I really like the simplicity that allows the viewer to focus on form.

What makes you think I don't already? :-)

6x6 actually makes a nice little contact print, I think. Unfortunately it's hard to find nice frames in that size---there are dollar-store junk frames, but they tend to be offensively blingy.

The lady of the house has to be a pretty swell sort of person to put up with the annoyance of a photographer.
