True, but did he call them oil-selfies, as opposed to film-selfies, or digi-selfies?

I think it is a selfie if the picture is of a face. A camera pointed down south produces something else.

Maybe that could be called a weinerie in recognition of a certain politician from New York.
I do use a digital device in my photographic pursuits when necessary.
When someone rags on me for using film, I use a middle digit, upraised.

Although I use social media, n'er a selfie of me to be seen. I'm no narcissist, there's a very good reason I'm always behind the camera...

    Think "troll".
    Cheers,

There are even products being produced to facilitate better "selfies". I'm a backpacker, and these are quite popular now-a-days.

    Apparently there's also the 'belfie'....
"He took to writing poetry and visiting the elves: and though many shook their heads and touched their foreheads and said 'Poor old Baggins!' and though few believed any of his tales, he remained very happy till the end of his days, and those were extraordinarily long "- JRR Tolkien, ' The Hobbit '.

Next they'll be calling a colonoscopy a 'healthie'.

What i finding funny is this is something alot have people have done for majority of their lives at some point, yet now in the world of #Trending (le sigh) celebrities are just using the social models determined via their agents.
Hence words like selfies being born. Just tag words to search for.

Slightly ironic when a celebrity states they are tried of cameras.... then take pics of themselves to show instantly to the world.

I couldn't think of anything witty to say so I left this blank.
