Hey, Wayne. This is still your chance to go beyond merely documenting your subject. Get up with the curator. See if there is a way that you can get some private time to work with your subject. Try to portray it in a light that will accentuate you article. Don't just snapshoot it. That's not what we're about. Even if you gotta use d******, do it right, man. Knock it outta the park.

I started with a digital SLR, then I moved towards film - i've now got more film equipment than I have digital. Being young, I don't see too much wrong with digital, apart from getting lost in the sheer volume of it.

Keep doing what you love, shooting film.

Well, apart from being lost, I once read an article in a photo magazine discussing the latest d****** model of some brand being capable of shooting "10 frames / s" or so...

That may sound nice , until you realize, as the author of the article did, that the supposedly high 100.000 shots life time of the camera's shutter, that was also being boosted, would mean a shutter break-down in just 1.5(!) day if you would keep the shutter release button down continuously...

Just shows what crap they are trying to sell us...

Course when I keep the shutter release button down continuously on my Kodak 2d I only get 1 exposure and I will die of starvation (or a full bladder) before the shutter wears out
