David Burnett photos of Tehran in 1978

Just hit upon this page of Contact Press Images with photos of David Burnett:

    http://www.contactpressimages.com/44Days/inside.html

The powerful images seem awfully familiar in the context of this years events... worth watching, especially with the excerpts of David's book. What else is going to happen in the Middle East? I especially liked his comment:

"I make a couple of quick shots. Then I vaporize, heading for the opposite corner of the small room. Khomeini is cool and calm, speaking in soft whispers to his fellow mullahs. He never makes eye contact with me and I have the impression he doesn’t even know I’m there."

    And the ending "Epilogue"...
