Better check on that. I don't think it takes 220.

Checked it.. it takes both formats. The pressure plate slides back and forth. 6x6 and 6x9.

I assure you that the Rollei T does not make 6x9 negatives. 220 film is a longer version of 120 to make, say, 24 6x6 frames instead of 12; it is not a different format.

The Rolleiflex does not take 220 film,the reason that the pressure plate moves is that there was a kit for rolleiflex and rolleicord cameras to allow the use of 35mm film check and one will be for 6/6 and one will say 24 by 36, the setting for 35mm. The kit was the Rolleikin and you can still find them second hand, never saw the sense of that myself, kind of defeats the purpose of a great MF camera

The mask allows you to make 16 6x4.5cm frames per roll, there are two masks one for the film gate and one for the viewfinder. It's covered in the directions. The T came only with the Tessar.

I didn't know about the Xenar versions. Mine was a black Tessar version.

As I understand it, F&H had discontinued the T but the British military convinced them to make one more run so it could be their military camera. They did and put the Xenar on. I have seen them occasionally on ebay.
