If I saw someone walking around wearing a 'Bokehlicious!' t-shirt, carrying a Hasselblad without a strap or tripod, I'm not sure I could keep my prejudice at bay. 
I might get my own t-shirt - 'Stopping down isn't a crime'.

I also noticed he did not bother to have any sort of strap and it was not his camera - it seems to belong to the chap he was photographing near the beginning. Would not want him to be handling my gear.

That is okay, they can really bounce well if dropped.
Warning!! Handling a Hasselblad can be harmful to your financial well being!
Nothing beats a great piece of glass!
I leave the digital work for the urologists and proctologists.
