    check out www.lauritz.com

under the section "elektronik". there are several hasselblad's for almost nothing!
you could find a nice espresso machine there also...

(but why use hasselblad if you can get Rollei??)

Or, buy a Kiev 88. You'll think it's a hassy (well, at least until you process your first roll), and still have money left for that espresso machine!

Go for the camera. Too much coffee/espresso makes for blurry pictures!

How do you plan to get up in time to be set up for the good light? Definitely go for the espresso maker.

It's a no brainer. Buy the camera then pester your dad often about not having any decent coffee. He'll spring for a machine to get you off his back.

OTOH you could wait 5 years and a Hasselblad and a cup of good coffee will be the same price.

well - tea is good for toning - and if added a laaarge whisky, good if you're sick.

I know that if I get up in the morning and realize I have totally depleated my espresso bean stock, I will not be in a good mood the rest of the morning.

I can go without food, water, sex, cigars and liquor for quite awhile. I do not know if I could last more then a couple of days without my morning espressos.

    Get the espresso machine.

I have my continental European friends to thank for this addiciton. I never enjoyed coffee untill I had the "real" kind in Italy and Germany. Nothing cures that Oktoberfest binge like a good espresso in the morning. Especially when you do it for about 4 nights in a row.

British coffee is as bad as it gets (but their beer is second to none [except possibly Belgian beer]). Jamaican coffee would be my choice for the best.

Why not both? Italians have been making espresso with their stove top brewers for decades, of course you dont get the capuccino feature, but for $40 you can get a pretty good stove top espresso maker.

If you dont want to go with the stove top brewers, presumably you already have a camera, get the espresso maker..
