    Housecleaning pays off!

As much as I despise housecleaning, I was trying to clear a space in my parents' basement today and I found a Diana camera in its box with instructions. It looks to be intact, maybe I'll put a film through it.

    Moderator! Close down this thread!
There is no room for such crazy, radical talk on APUG. If you want a Diana, push the trash on your keyboard aside and go to Ebay.
That is called grain. It is supposed to be there.

If it wasn't, I might consider it an option

And when you're done finding John's rear element (hmmm, don't read that too closely without viewing the rest of the thread), you could visit me and help me find the 4 adapters I've misplaced that would let me put 3x4 film in my 9x12 plate holders. I've got film sheaths, I've got film, and I've got plate holders -- and now I can't spot the adapters... :P
Photography has always fascinated me -- as a child, simply for the magic of capturing an image onto glossy paper with a little box, but as an adult because of the unique juxtaposition of science and art -- the physics of optics, the mechanics of the camera, the chemistry of film and developer, alongside the art in seeing, composing, exposing, processing and printing.
