And a rangefinder (go with a Leica...cheap and nice), a panorama rangefinder (XPAN) and a panorama (7x17) view camera.

You don't. You need an SLR, a TLR and a view camera.

True. Along with a folder and interchangeable lens rangefinder.

And you will of course need a 6x9 or two; given that 6x6 is so good, 6x9 has got to be better. Then you will start wondering what a 4x5 looks like on the light table.

    It's all downhill from now

Um, Joey, why would anyone enter a competition that can be won only by dying? Yeah, yeah, I know "count no man happy until he is dead," but that's a statement about the prospect of changes for the much worse, not about what it takes to be happy.

I swear I fainted when I read this question! An APUGer who doesn't know why he needs more cameras needs to seek professional help right away!

"Someone please tell me why I need both an SLR and a TRL."

You don't. Sell them both and buy a Nikon D2x... oops, wrong forum. I thought this was photo.net.

    By the way, I'm kidding.

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.

Besides being quieter there is also less camera shake with a TLR -- no mirror slapping about.

Hmmm. Until I read your post, I thought I had at least as many cameras as I needed. Two Graphics, two Nikons, two Beaulieu S8 cameras, and too many: Canon S8 cameras, Eumig Nautica, Retinas, 120 film pocketable folders, ... And I seem to have more lenses than I need too.

Are you sure I need help? I just took my mental temperature, and the reading is "sell the rest of the 'excess to needs' equipment".

I mean, I have more cameras than I can carry, let alone use. I've checked with my doctor. He says I don't have Galli's Disease or Tjugen's Syndrome.

    Cheers,

    Dan

Hmm, if that is so, why then did you bid on the Boyer Beryl a couple of days ago, which, incidentally, is soon to travel northwards to Holland...

I am sure you hit the shutter button at a Seattle Mariners on a Bronica, I know for a fact you will get stares, but I am not sure they would be stares of fascination!!
