Anyone loaning/donating a large format camera?

I would really love to use a 4x5. I can't give up 35mm for many kinds of photography though and can't afford to get into another system at present beside my Yashicamat.

I would love to try this camera. You see I have had a taste, a horrible glimpse of what medium format can offer. But all that I get are blurry shillouettes, on foged film. The only camera I have in MF are cheap (less than $1!) tlr's that I have bought, or that have been given to me. I would just go buy a MF camera, but being a student money is tight, and I have no idea what format (6x6 6x7 6x4.5) is for me. Weight is no problem, being young and would even be better (need to get into shape). I even have an iffinty for the strange and bizzare cameras that were made, and this one with it's film advance system sure would fit in there. Also at the end of march I'm going to Paris for a week, and would love to have some larger negs of the city, if the camera can be taken out of the country.

Even though I would like the camera, it seems that gnashings is more deserving.

OK folks - gnashings it is. I will send the camera out tomorrow via Post, and hope it makes it into Peter's hands.

    Have fun!

Hopefully you won't have to wait too long, I just got back from the post office. It's out of my hands and into yours.

Let me know when it shows up.

Finally got around to send prints to REX
11x14s looked better than most 8x10s I could do with 35mm cameras

Thanks once again for lending me such a cool camera!!!

I'd love to give this a try, but since I don't have access to a darkroom yet (I hope to sometime in the next 2-3 months), so I'll just have to sigh and dream.
