Why would this camera need to cost more than around $800?

Voted no, but not for any other reason than I have bought my last camera for a while today. This is a beauty though Fuji and I hope it sells like hot cakes.

I would need a price to consider before answering. On several levels, this is an attractive camera. On other levels for me personally, I can't see it.

The camera pictured has an 80/3.5 lens. That's kind of a wide normal. That looks pretty good to me.

Since this is basically theoretical, I'll vote yes. If I had the money (whatever it costs) I definitely would buy one. But me ain't gots the $$$$ so I guess this is a moot point.

Great looking camera. Medium format folders are so convenient. Like others I will await pricing info before making a decision.

Yes I would buy one if it had a moderate wide lens and priced right.
