    I love my Lubi BUT....

Has the world gone stark staring mad ? This auction http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Lomo-Lubitel-1...QQcmdZViewItem has a lubitel 166B going for in excess of £20 ! OK it's boxed but IT'S A LUBITEL , The glass is from a coke bottle and focussing is best done with eyes closed. £5 I can understand , maybe £10 for a collector's model but this is about the price for a Canon 630 with a decentish zoom lens. Why ???? Confused of Cannock P.S if you want to move it to the lounge fine.
Hmm- Wonder if she'd notice if I bought that :)

Because it's written "LOMO" in Cyrillic characters on it?
Using film since before it was hip.

Dear Lord it went for £47.51!

I bought my lubitel for £15.

Brand new, box fresh, smelling of Russian gun oil, with accessories from a camera shop in Swansea 15 plus years ago.
I'd read about them in camera weekly, and wanted to have a play.

I've now got a collection of old 120 cameras, but I've not paid more than £15 for any of them
