Bronica SQ ME manual metered finder: How does it work?

It has a speed dial on the side, and thats all I know. Picked one up cheap, put it on the camera, now what? How does it work?

You get a plus, minus, or green readout in the viewfinder. Settings on the finder dial override those on the camera. It's a center weighted meter so use cautiously.

Thanks Bill. I'm not seeing any LEDs in the viewfinder. Maybe its faulty. Is there any way to test it? Camera battery test shows batteries are ok.
