Default need some help with 645 pro LED

As I'm just getting used to my Mamiya 645 Pro with the AEF401 finder (my first MF camera), could anyone help me to read the LED? It appears to show my selected shutter speed but there are other numbers also flashing...
I just KNOW I'm going to feel like an idiot when I get the answer!

I am assuming you don't have a manual in front of you so.....

Might as well get it from the source:

Note: This site used to be very browser picky, so if you have trouble try another browser. It is currently working for me with Firefox 2.x.

And unfortunately none of the camera manuals show anything about the viewfinder, so track back to here:

Somewhere I think I have the official Mamiya PDF for the newer viewfinders, but I'm not sure where I have them.

Thanks Greg for the link to the new location on Mamiya's site for these manuals.

Unfortunately, you won't find an instruction manual there for the finder you are using.

I use the predecessor to that finder (M645 Super AE prism finder N) on my M645 Supers and my M645 Pro. I believe it operates in a manner similar to your 401 finder.

Here is a link to the instruction manual for it:

http://butkus.org/chinon/mamiya/mami...ae_prism_n.htm

With my finder, if I have the camera set for manual exposure, the manually set speed is illuminated, and the suggested speed flashes.

In the manual for the Pro-Tl there also seems to be a suggestion that if you forget to take out the darkslide, the shutter speed indicator flashes as well.

Hope this helps.

Matt

thanks everyone. I do have the manual but it doesn't discuss the vf. Matt's link to the AE prism solved the problem.

Well I harvested everything from the Mamiya site so that next time they do something foolish or delete stuff I'll have them. Wish I had done that before they sold everything and then deleted a bunch of the good stuff.
