Mamiya 645 Super with leaf shutter lens?

    Just curious:

I found a Mamiya Super 645, with power grip, AE prism and a 70/2.8 leaf shutter lens. How well does the leaf shutter lens work with this setup?

It allows an option of using either shutter type, e.g. the leaf for flash synch at any speed.

    Jerevan:

I'd suggest looking through this thread:

The lens itself is fine, and makes for a decent "normal" lens for the camera. IMHO it is best to consider the leaf shutter as an accessory to be used in particular situations.

    Jerevan:

The only way that I found the thread, was including the fact that it had my own posts in my search criteria (I remembered the thread) .

Yes, sometimes finding things in here is an adventure in itself, akin to some Lewis Carroll story.

I got all the answers I needed from the thread mentioned. Thanks!
