Ok, so the ad is posted. I have calculated Paypal, USPS fees, and everything and the total with 150.00 would be 170.00. Find it in the classified section, and lets see what happens

Sorry...$100 is about my limit for a non-working one. Good luck selling it, I don't doubt that someone wants it. I don't need another Medalist *that* bad.

There are people who will buy the
camera to cannibalize it for the lens.

Well, it depends on how you want to convert it.
I just had Ken do a feed-side only conversion to
    my Medalist -- I don't mind using a 620 take-up
spool, I just don't want to have to respool 120
to load it. Ken charges $95 for a feedside-only
conversion -- the full deal is something over $300.

I am happy with the result, and astonished at how
much better the viewfinder and rangefinder work
    after Ken cleaned them.

    that's not too bad ..
a few years ago i almost bought a medalist
and was looking into having it converted
but it was going to cost as you said
well over $300 .. so i backed off.
at the time 620 was still being sold through J&C,
i guess THEY were respooling it themselves ...
i didn't know ken had different ways of
    converting them ...
lucky i am broke, and haven't fallen off the gas-wagon
this year ... but you are not helping my addiction sanders!
    im empty, good luck

Based off of your guy's feedback, I talked to John (the actual owner). I lowered the price to 100.00 plus PP and Shipping, though I might be willing to work on that. If anyone is interested, let me know.

I had a Medalist II. Nice lens, but the camera is big and bulky. Plus, its bulbous front makes it difficult to grip securely. In the end it wasn't for me, so I sold it.

I am seriously considering keeping it and converting it. The thought of having a 6X9 rangefinder makes me well.. kinda giddy. Must be all the caffeine.

Did $95 get the feedside conversion and a CLA? I have a nice II (as well as a pair of non-functional Is with only one lens between them) that I really enjoy using. Not having to respool would be nice.
