    I got two backs for my RB67 that were advertised sans darkslide. B&H sells them new but they are a pretty penny indeed.

    Thinking about it a bit, it struck me that this isn't a difficult question at all.
    All my darkslides go where they are supposed to go: in the film magazines they belong to.

    Attach your darkslide to a lens cap then you can lose both at the same time - more efficient that way.

    Mines in my filmback. It provides the useful function of keeping me from accidently firing the shutter. My shutter release cable is the pain. I always have to double check that one and make an effort to put it back where it belongs.

    I'm glad of two things:
    - My camera backs have got a darkslide holder.
    - The backs can't be removed from camera if a darkslide is not in place.

    These two points help a great deal to avoid darkslides getting lost :-)
