Warning!! Handling a Hasselblad can be harmful to your financial well being!
Nothing beats a great piece of glass!
I leave the digital work for the urologists and proctologists.

I've got a Nikkormat that has gone through 2 salt-water dunkings. Got it in to be CLA'd double-quick each time, and it still lives on. I seldom shoot 35mm these days, but it still worked last time I loaned it out.
Now the digital camera that jumped into the tide pool - complete toast!

I have decided to part ways with the 500CM. http://www.apug.org/forums/forum379/...ml#post1078415

"Near Mint, very few signs of use" is what I was thinking!

That would be a rather more accurate description of your Blad.

My repair guy always tells me that if something gets wet to keep it that way until you can get it to him. That way you're not drying everything out, increasing the possibility of rust and corrosion. I'd guess that the camera can be repaired but the expense is going to hurt.

The expense will be far too great.
The entire thing has to be disassembled completely, everything cleaned, and than the entire thing has to be rebuild again (including relubing where appropriate, and adjusting the whole shebang).
Something for a DIY project. Just for fun. But if you have to pay for it... Yikes!
