Fuji GX680 100-200 zoom - safe without a support bracket?

    Hi everyone.

I just grabbed this zoom on ebay tonight but it came without the support bracket. Has anyone here used this lens? I'm hoping it's like the 100-200 for the Mamiya RZ67 in that the bellows does not need to be extended for focusing unless you wnat to use the lens for macro work.

Fingers crossed as I reckon finding a support bracket is going to be a real struggle!

I've been able to answer my own question.

No - it's not safe without the bracket support on the GX680III but...

Yes, it's fine on the GX680IIIS without any additional support. The same goes for the 800mm.
