    What is this mamiya accessory?

A lens filter removal tool? It came with a lens I just bought. Way too big for the 80mm Mamiya 645 lens it came with...

Looks like a "quick focus" lever ro fit on the focus ring of a non-RB or RZ lens (these cameras have bellows focus systems)

It's a quick focus lever, clamp it on the focus knurls, thumb the lever to focus. Bronica has a similar item.

Yep, I keep mine in the corner of the closet to confuse the mice.

So that's what that is...I thought it might be some sort of torture device to coax the lens into perfect focus or exposure.....he!

funny you mention a filter removal tool as my 80mm Mamiya lens has a habit of unscrewing the filter thread section of the lens from the lens rather than just the filter!

have you considered its use as an oil filter wrench for your car!
