The pin at the hole is missing? I see on the left side of you pic 4 pins, the one in the center isn't it?

My most recent post dropped off here on refresh...

The pin that should mate with the hole is missing?

I see a pin on the left side of your pic in the center... isn't that the one tht mates with the hole?

Paul, sorry this pic is off the internet. This looks like a complete adapter.

The one I've got has no pin, or atleast it's sheared off at the surface of the adapter.

I just posted this pic to compare mine to and the pin is definitely not there on my example.

    Thanks,
    Tom.

    AH HA! Now I understand.

That's not your dog, so of course yours doesn't bite.

Well that's a shame. I wonder how it got sheared off? Are you sure it';s not hiding inside? At least you can still use it. I'd just live with it, not worth fixing.

If I ever come into a part, I'll definately send it your way.

Hehe sorry for all the confusion Paul.

Not sure how it did, it's new to me so its history is unknown.

I may be able to attach another pin fashioned from something from the hardware shop or something. I'll see what I can do.

Thanks for the offer, I'd be keen for that

Re: keeping aware of the orientation of the backs.

All my Pro and Pro-S backs have indicators on the backs themselves - small rectangles that reveal the truth!

They are important, because my RB body is the older, Pro body.

Of course, you are right. I forgot, because I don't use a prism finder.
