Use a Hasselblad with a strong Telescope to shoot the moon and crop and see if you can count them

They were probably going to pick them up later when they were not hauling rocks.

At least one body/lens set from each mission. Gene Cernan and I talked about it once (he was the last man on the moon)... ... bragging to that I have spoken with Neil Armstrong a few times, never asked him about photography though. Jerry Ross a shuttle guy told me about NASA photo training. He was a shuttle commander and easily knows as much about photography as I do having done it my whole career.

There were 12 Hasselblad Electric Data Cameras (EDC) left on the moon. The 70mm film magazines came back with the crew.
