Canon AE1-P Action Grip
I originally had an AE1-P in the late 90's as my first 'proper' SLR when I took GCSE Photography, I eventually moved to EOS, then Bronica ETRSi for shooting weddings... Then Digital.
Recently I had an urge to buy a AE1-P again, I found a nice looking one on eBay form a UK seller that appears to deal in many analogue cameras with a good rating. Although I paid more than I really wanted to it looks in very nice condition and sounds nice when operating the shutter.
My Question....
It is in extremely good condition visually and the 'action grip' is unmarked. I see you can get copied plastic ones online, this is plastic with a metal plate on the back so is it genuine or a copy?
Also anyone know of anywhere online a PDF of the original sales brochure?
Steve.

It might be a copy, most of them are plastic. BTW welcome to APUG.

Thanks for the welcome!
Can I post a small photo or link to a photo here?

That certainly looks OEM to me.

Thanks for your opinion.
Looking forward to taking it out next week and running a film through it. May take my D3s with me also for some comparison shots.

I have now weighed it and it's 12.7g. I have also removed the two screws for a closer look.
The front is plastic and the back has a metal plate.

Looks like the original one (it's identical to my AE1P's one, and I mine was purchased new some years ago...
