    While I love my F2s for their sheer ruggedness and heft (and "battery-free" operation), I, too, have to commend our friends at Nikon for the ergonomics on both the F5 and the F6. My only complaint for the former is the "on/off" switch which, rather frustratingly, requires a two-finger effort to operate.

    Add in another F3HP/MD4/AH3 combo. I picked up the set for $125.00 from a (in my view, misguided) colleague who switched to d*****l. Unfortunately, I could not talk this poor soul out of any of his Nikkor primes (I would like to get my paws on his 105mm f/2.5 AI and his 15mm f3.5 AIS); oh well...

    You can always remind him what a great lens the 14-24/2.8 is, and point out how redundant his 15mm will be if he owns that one.
