Point me to a compact Minolta SLR

Being on the fleamarket (now they call it antique fair, LOL) yesterday I could not resist buying two Minolta lenses. I don't know why I need another bayonet, but now here they are: MC W. Rokkor-HG 35/2.8 and MC Tele Rokkor-PF 135/2.8.
(Thought they are a good buy, but I read now on the net MD would have been a better choice. Don't care about that, I am happy about them focusing smootly and being very nicely built. Better than an optically superior lens I never use for the reason I need a wrench to focus it.)

Now I need a body for them.
I would prefer something comparable in dimensions to an Olympus OM-2 or Pentax ME-super.
Does something like that exist with Minolta mount?

XD-11. Built with Leica-like smoothness. Mmmm. You can find out all about it (and others) here.

I am beginning to resent being referred to as 'half-fast'.
    Whatever that's supposed to mean.

The XD-11 is a fine camera.. Your MC lens will work with it except in shutter priority mode but manual and aperture priority work fine. The MC lens is my preferred over the MD in part because of slightly better build quality..

Any of the X-series. They're all fantastic, from the lowly XG-A to the powerhouse X-570. I love the instant-touch metering.

I would go first with an XD5 or XD11.
If one of those doesn't do it for you maybe look at the X-700 and X-370.

I would agree with the suggestion of a XD-11. But I'm not sure any of these Minolta's are as compact as the OM2 or ME-Super.
