You got lucky on the Questar modified F, that's for sure.

Since everyone is jumping on the new AF-S 50mm f/1.4, I was able to get a regular 50mm for a quite reasonable price. Since I do not use flash often, a D type is not even necessary.

In the last couple of months I picked a T90, an EOS 630 and a pair of EOS RT's out of the bay. As old as they are, they need a little servicing, but they're in great shape.

A Nikon FM + 200mm Nikkor, to replace a FM outfit that went flying out the back of my hatchback. Don't ask. I also replaced my MD-12 and SB-10, and picked up a nice Tamron 35-70mm zoom. All courtesy of eBay, and for a lot less than the FM body cost in 1979.

A Canonet ql17 GIII arrived a coupple of days ago. By mistake I picked up an XA1 as I thought it was the original version. Luckily the real XA is available at reasonable price, so I got another one just some minutes ago. I also use an EOS 600 and have got the Practica 5 from my father, but not yet tested it. This was the camera I started out with, though.

Oly mju zoom 140, film p&s! For under 15 Pacific Pesos including shipping, in that online auction place.

One fine piece of machinery: sharp lens at most settings, focus and exposure lock, red-eye reduction with mini-flashes, spot meter for those weird lighting situations, viewfinder dioptre adjust, the list goes on.

I'm in love with this little thing, it seems to follow me everywhere!

In one shot, a Ricoh Singlex TLS, Ricoh Auto TLS EE and a Olympus mju-i, just because of a CZJ Tessar 2,8/50 preset diaphragm... some M42 lenses came with the lot, Vivitar 28mm, Soligor 28mm, Pallas 135mm all very useable... if I only had time to use them properly...

Good morning;

I am participating in this thread much too often than I should.

Oldlugs; what did Questar do to a Nikon F to make it a "Questar modified Nikon F?"

While waiting in the line for the confessional booth to move again, I have time to tell you that there is a Minolta Dynax 9 / Maxxum 9 with VC-9 grip and a 28 to 85 mm zoom lens that has come to live here with all of the other Minolta cameras. One of the intended uses for this Minolta Auto Focus body is to see just how much do the optical MF to AF adapters actually do to the old Minolta MF lenses when you stick them onto an AF mount. Also, I need to find a local chapter of Cameras Anonymous.
