Default Your LATEST 35mm SLR camera purchase...

The title speaks for itself. What is the latest 35mm SLR camera you purchased? Let's restrict this to cameras we have purchased voluntarily, not gifts or acquisitions. I want to see if there is a trend in what APUGers are purchasing these days.

I'll start off. The last SLR I bought was a Nikon F3 to be used along side my other Nikon F3. Luckily, I did buy a backup because the shutter failed on one during a recent trip. It was great having a backup right there in the camera bag.

Don't remember Ricoh XR-X I think. Might have been an older Ricoh I bought for the lens.

Nikon F3. When you can afford what you a couple of years back couldn't, then you just have to... uhh... grab'em and go!

The most recent one I bought was yet another Nikon FM. It's in perfect condition and the price was practically a give-away ($35.00).

Two Nikon EL-2 camera bodies for my two teen-aged sons. Oh, and about 12 batteries at $7 each for the cameras because the EL-2 is notorious for eating them.

I think that was probably the Nikon FA I bought from KEH.

Minolta Maxxum 7 last November (one of the last ones before minolta stopped producing them). And I just got a used 50mm f1.7 to go with it. Just love the thing.
