If that is true could be awesome!
But who will make those Cosina?
They alreayd have the Voigtlander lenses for any mount, so it maybe a natural step.

What an interesting development. Could there in the future be some Contax MM lenses available after all contractual obligations are met with Kyrocera?

Will ther be a new camera introduced by Zeiss or Cosina that has an MM mount?

    Intrigueing development.

You can already mount Contax MM lenses on a Canon -- but not a Nikon.

I do it daily -- my Elan has a 50 f/1.4 Planar on it right this second.

quite frankly while I love my Blad glass, I am also very happy with my Nikkor glass. can't see me running out to put Zeiss lenses on my Nikon.

I was leafing thru a large hardback book put out by Life magazine featuring all their photographers. The photos were stunning in many cases. Most of them were made using lenses that today would be scoffed at. Just goes to show, at least to me anyway, what the priority should be. Great content, good composition and proper exposure.

Yes, there are several Voightlander designs produced by Cosina in the Nikon F mount.

    See: http://www.cameraquest.com/inventor.htm

Cosina is also producing a series of M Leica mount lenses of Zeiss design - complete with the Zeiss Marque

This is dangerous for my fiscal well being, now I will need an FM2 or an F3 to run with these Lenses. I presently shoot with non AI glass.

If you're shooting non-AI lenses, why would you need an FM2 or F3? If it's a matter of metering prongs, those are easily added if not supplied...
