    You'll note that I mentioned that the 15/3.5 is indeed a Zeiss design, and also shared with the Leica Elmar-R 15/3.5 in my post that you quote

    New CARL ZEISS lenses with K-bayonet mount!

    With press release, dated 07/19/07, CARL ZEISS in Oberkochen/Germany has announced a new row of 35mm lenses with the universal K-bayonet mount.
