    I'm a Nikonista - have been for 30 years.

To me it was buying into "a system". In 35mm format I wouldn't change now for any reason.

In my original reply to this in 09/2004, I said I had recently bought a used Pentax 645 and speculated I would use it a lot. I do. Currently, more than any of the other cameras I own.

I use the Contax c/y mount system. I generally take out two cameras with me: one for BW & one for color. One has a 35mm lens, the other 50mm. One day I might take out the RX & the 139Q and the next the Aria & the S2.

Most of my shooting is with a Rolleiflex 2.8E. As part of my business II restore vintage telephones, radios (and occasionally cameras), and take pictures of them - to sell the items on ebay, etc. That accounts for probably 80% of my film use. No, I don't use digital. I use both 120 and 35mm (120 for more valuable items), and the Rollei shoots either with use of the Rollekin adapter. I also use a Linhof for really up close shots. I used to use a Hassy 503CX, but I don't have a 35mm back and have found I prefer the Rollei for most things anyway. I also have a cute little Kodak Pony which I use for fun sometimes (35mm).

Pentax LX, and another Pentax LX, and a Pentax MX.
When I'm shooting MF it's Hasselblad 500c/m, and for the last weeks Pentax 645.

I have two primary kits that, between them, are used for over 90% of my photography.

My Nikon MF SLR system is used mostly for landscape and portraits. My Leica M rangefinder system is for street shooting and travel.

The remainder is mostly with a small Olympus OM1 kit but I'll occasionally dig out my Olympus Stylus Epic or even an old Topcon 35L rangefinder.

Very rarely used is a Canon A540 digicam.

Canon for SLR and digital cameras.
For rangefinder, I'm all over the place. Yashica, Canon and Bessa.

Nikon for 35mm and digital, Mamiya for 120 film. Someday when I'm swimming in cash I would like to try Leica M series.
