hi all,

I recently got a Nikon f6 and I got alot of filters that go with it. I am having a hard time finding resources that tell me what these filters do with black and white images. Any advice?

B+W uses different filter numbers from others, but the information in the handbook is well presented and general enough to be easy to transfer to other brands.

I use wikipedia a lot. The information, like much on the internet, can be less that 100% as it is easily changed by anyone but I have found that hard and fast fact based articles are usually good. I also have alot of free time at my office to read about things I already know about, sort of like a refresher. Try these two articles?
