ikonta 522 manual and problem?

hey all,

I am looking for a ikonta 522/24 manual? any one have a scanned copy or know where to find one? I have looked at buktus, and tried googling it. the 522/24 works fine the shutter fires and the aperture ring is fine except the leaf shutter blades in front part of the lens are stuck closed is this a mechanical problem or is there a switch I think pull in order for them to open after I cock the shutter? the aperture blades closes down and opens but the blades in front are closed.

Your shutter needs servicing. Oil has probably leaked out onto the shutter blades and stuck them together.

Prontor or Compur shutter? I've done many of these and they are great little cameras, especially with the Tessar.

it has a prontor shutter. what do I need to do in order to service it?

the lens on it is a novar
